Healey & Associates, Inc., a financial services firm with offices in Auburn and Portland Maine, is seeking a Benefit Analyst to join our team of employee benefits professionals in our Portland office.

Primary responsibilities include researching, analyzing and organizing insurance carrier quotes and designing corporate benefit plans/insurance programs for current and prospective clients.  Additionally, the Benefit Analyst is responsible for preparing employee benefit renewal presentations and enrollment meeting materials, and assisting account managers with customer service issues.

Preferred candidates will have prior experience with employee medical insurance and ancillaries.  Strong Excel and data analysis skills are essential.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Job Requirements

You must possess excellent math skills, written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.  Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher and Access is helpful. In addition, team building, data analysis, client relationship skills are critical aspects to success in this position.
